Choosing the Best ‘Buy Here Pay Here’ Dealer Part 4: Service & Warranty

Choosing the Best ‘Buy Here Pay Here’ Dealer Part 4: Service & Warranty

This is Part 4 of our “Choosing the Best ‘Buy Here Pay Here’ Dealer series. Part 1 was about the dealer’s character; Part 2 was about the dealer’s inventory quality and selection; and Part 3 was about the dealer’s financing process. Now let’s take a look at the final dealmaker: service after the sale.

Communication After the Sale

You’ve paid the down payment, signed the contract for your auto loan, and driven off the lot in your new purchase. Now what? For a lot of Buy Here Pay Here dealers, that’s it — they got your down payment and your signature, and they could not care less whether or not the car keeps running or if you’re able to make your payments. If you fall behind on your payments, they’ll just repo the vehicle and you’ll still be on the hook for the full loan amount. You want to find a dealer that has your best interests at heart, one who wants to see you succeed in the loan and is willing to work with you should a problem arise.

Communication with Integrity

Integrity wants to do everything we can to keep you in your vehicle. Should a payment problem arise, contact us and we’ll do everything we can to help you get back on your feet (see more about this in Part 3 of the series). We want to hear from you — both your sales associate and the finance account manager. We’re here to help you.

Vehicle Service & Warranty

You’ll be buying a used vehicle, and vehicles are intricate machines with lots of moving parts. Sometimes these parts fail — even new cars come with a factory warranty for this very reason. When purchasing a used car, you’ll definitely want to choose a place with a real, reputable service warranty program.

Some dealers promise a “free” and/or “lifetime” warranty, which sounds — and is — too good to be true. The truth about these “warranties” is in the fine print. “Free” warranties are usually written in such a way to minimize their cost and minimize your coverage. They’re full of “gotcha!” clauses that give the dealer the option to deny coverage and transfer the full cost of service to the buyer.

Integrity’s Heartland Service Warranty Plan

Integrity has a true service warranty plan, which is approved and licensed by the State of Oklahoma Insurance Department. That kind of legitimacy is rare in the Buy Here Pay Here industry. The Heartland Service Warranty Plan covers all of your major components to ensure that we keep you on the road and your vehicle in tip-top shape.

That’s Integrity!

If you’re looking for the best selection of high-quality used vehicles, an easy financing process (regardless of credit), a legitimate warranty plan, and a dealer you can trust, then come see Integrity first!
