Frequently Asked Questions

In almost every case: absolutely! Integrity Auto Finance is in the business of helping people with bad credit finance quality makes and models of all types of vehicles. It is our job to help people with no credit or bad credit establish or re-build good credit. If you’ve been repossessed, suffered through divorce, bankruptcy, injury, a lost job, or are just down on your luck, it’s okay. Almost everyone can be approved. At Integrity Auto Finance we want to approve you and we will work hard to get you approved. Fill out our online financing application to start the process or come by one of our two locations to apply in person.

Yes, in almost every case. Integrity Auto Finance believes that some used car dealers and Buy Here Pay Here dealers set customers up to fail. Some dealers figure that they can sell the same car time after time to make more money. They might charge little or no money as a down payment and then set up high payments that are more than you can afford. It is as if they are setting you up to fail so they can re-possess the car and sell it to someone else.

In some cases people buy cars that aren’t reliable, with one problem after another, and the dealer says “tough luck, deal with it.” The customer is then stuck paying for a car that isn’t running. Or maybe the dealer says they will help the customer but never gets around to it. Or maybe the dealer says there is a free warranty but there is a big deductible that has to be paid. Or maybe the dealer says the free warranty doesn’t apply for some reason.

At Integrity Auto Finance we don’t play those games. We understand that many people whose cars have been repossessed will be good customers when they are able to get a good, reliable vehicle and payments they can afford. We want to help, and it gives us extra pride when we are able to help people who may have been set up to fail by other dealers.

At Integrity Auto Finance we understand that divorce can be a painful, disruptive experience that might lead to bad credit and financial problems. But you still need a car or truck to get to work, to get kids to school, to get groceries, to get to church and to get around. We understand and we want to help. That means doing everything we can to get the car you need for a payment you can afford.

At Integrity Auto Finance we get it. Many of our employees are single Moms or single Dads, or people who grew up in a single parent home. We have been there. Some of us are there right now. We get it and sincerely want to help in any way we can.

At Integrity Auto Finance we know the importance of having a car or truck that is reliable – our pre-owned cars, trucks, SUVs and vans have undergone a thorough 132 point service checklist before they are put on the lot for sale. Our vehicles are reconditioned to a level we believe to be way above any of our competition. It is part of our “Golden Rule” mission to treat others the way we would want to be treated ourselves.

Our Heartland Service Warranty Plan is designed to help you with the car or truck after you buy it. We are genuinely committed to being the one place you know you can trust to treat you fairly and honestly.

We also know that a new car, truck, SUV, crossover or minivan won’t do you any good if it is repossessed, so we structure payments that you can afford. When you are on your own it is especially important that your car loan be set up so you can succeed.

And if you should need service after the Heartland Service Warranty Plan expires, we have a customer “ombudsman” whose main job is to help you. She’s not single, but she is a Mom.

Yes – at Integrity Auto Finance we want to finance your future, not turn you down based on your past. The purpose of bankruptcy is to get a fresh start for a better future. Integrity Auto Finance wants to be part of that future and help you establish new and better credit.

A car loan is a good way to establish or improve credit. We want to approve you and a prior bankruptcy should not get in the way. If you are currently in bankruptcy there are special rules depending on the type of bankruptcy. Give us a chance to work with you and we will see what we can do to get you a new ride.

Integrity Auto Finance is interested in your situation now, not your past. We want to finance your future. The important factors will be your income, employment, personal references, and residence in Oklahoma.

  1. We need information to verify your identity, income and ability to pay. This includes:
  2. Driver’s License.
  3. Most recent pay stubs for you, and your co-buyer, if any.
  4. Information regarding employment, including job, company name and address, supervisor, time at that job, and prior employment experience.
  5. Copy of utility bills to verify residence.
  6. Contact information for your mortgage company or landlord.
  7. List of personal references, including their name, address, phone numbers and place of employment.
  8. Trade-in, if any, including the title and information about where it is financed.

Dealers Finance Co. has provided Integrity Auto Finance with a worksheet we use to determine the economics of each deal. The Integrity Sales Manager will review your loan application and desired vehicle, review whether the payments are affordable based on a payment to income ratio, and make sure the payments are set up to correspond to when you are paid or otherwise prefer to pay. Once you are approved, a member of the Integrity staff will explain the Heartland Service Warranty Plan, get your insurance information, and to meet with you and answer questions. The Integrity Team’s goal is to get you approved for a vehicle you can afford and will be proud to own.

No. Buying a car is a big deal and no one wants to be pressured. At Integrity Auto Finance our approach is to let you walk the lot to look at our wide selection of pre-owned cars, trucks and SUVs. You can take as long as you want, and then a Customer Sales representative will help you pick out the car, truck or SUV you want and start the car loan approval process.

You will not be pressured about your down payment. If you are asked if you can put more money down it is only to help get you approved for the vehicle you have selected or to help lower your payments to an amount that would be easier for you to afford. The pressure is on our team, not you, to help you buy and finance a vehicle you can afford and will be proud to own.

At Integrity Auto Finance the down payment will depend on what pre-owned car, truck or SUV you want to buy, your situation and how much you can afford as payments.

The more you are able to pay as a down payment the less your recurring payments will be. Another advantage of a down payment is that it helps you pay off your loan faster, meaning it will cost you less interest.

At Integrity Auto Finance we encourage you to put down as much as you can up front to save you money in the long run. On the other hand, if you don’t have much to spare for a down payment we will work with you to get you in the best vehicle you like and can afford.

If you have bad credit it does cost more to get financed because you represent a higher perceived risk. But it doesn’t always have to be that way.

Integrity Auto Finance can help you improve your credit in several ways. Our financing company Dealers Finance Co. will report your credit experience with Dealers Finance Co. so you can use your good experience with us to re-build your credit. A car loan can be a very good way to establish or help improve your credit history.

Dealers Finance Co. has programs to reward you for on-time payment. This includes programs to reduce your interest rate and build a fund to be used for service, accessories or a down payment on your next vehicle with us. Once you establish your good credit with us we can help you buy and finance more vehicles from us with reduced interest cost.

The total amount of interest will depend on the amount financed, the note term and the interest rate. The amount financed will depend on the cost of the vehicle, the service warranty plan that you choose and the document and title fees. The note term will depend on the amount financed and the interest rate.

The interest rate can vary from 14.90% to 20.90%. The interest rate is a computer based determination of a number of important factors, including your prior payment history with car loans, job tenure for your current and immediately prior job, and prior history with Dealers Finance.

You can lower your interest rate down to a floor of 14.90% by signing up for AutoPay so that payments are made automatically. You can also qualify for an annual interest rate reduction, down to a floor of 14.90%, by making payments on time.

Integrity offers an insurance product called GAP Insurance to help protect customers whose vehicle is wrecked and a total loss before their note is paid off. GAP Insurance is designed to help cover the difference between the actual cash value of a vehicle immediately before the accident and the balance still owed on the financing. The effect is that the insured has an extra source of money to help pay off the wrecked vehicle. Integrity’s GAP Insurance is an optional product so our customers get to choose whether to take advantage of it. Integrity sells the product at a below-market mark-up so it is easier for our customers to afford this important protection.

The most important thing you can do is make sure that you can afford what you buy and are committed to paying for it.

The cost of your pre-owned car, truck or SUV will depend on how much you finance and for how long. Here are some things to help:

The more money you are able to put down to start with, the less you will have to pay in interest over time. At Integrity Auto Finance we are sincerely committed to helping you succeed. Other dealers who promote or require little or no money down are actually setting you up to pay a lot more in interest. You think you are paying less because you don’t pay much down to start but in reality, over the life of the deal you are paying more due to interest.

The more you can afford to pay each payment period the quicker you can pay off the car loan and the less it will cost you over time. At Integrity Auto Finance we try to structure your car loan to be both affordable and enable you to pay it off sooner rather than later. The quicker the car is paid, the less you have to pay in interest and the less your total cost.

The more frequently you schedule payments, the less interest you will have to pay over time. For example, it will cost you less interest to pay semi-monthly than it will to pay monthly.

Payments should correspond to when you are paid and should not be more than you can afford. It is essential that you be set up to succeed. Integrity Auto Finance and Dealers Finance have established payment percentage standards tied to a percentage of your income to help protect against you being approved for payments that are higher than you can afford.

Dealers Finance has a program to reduce your interest rate up to 3 percentage points if you consistently make your payments on time. This can help you save money over time and pay the loan off faster.

Paying on time will avoid late payment fees and reduce your interest cost. If you have to make a payment late, consider following our guidelines to handling late payments to relieve some of the stress.

The condition of the vehicle when you buy it will affect your total cost of ownership. Integrity Auto Finance puts its vehicles through a 132 point comprehensive service checklist to make sure the vehicles are eligible for the Heartland Service Warranty Plan and sale to customers.

Your sales consultant will also be happy to show you an AutoCheck Vehicle History Report so you can understand the vehicle’s history and condition.

When you look at a vehicle at Integrity Auto Finance you typically will see it is shiny, has good tires and fresh oil and filters. But it is the things that you may not see that can be really important. We recondition our pre-owned cars, trucks and SUVs to a standard we believe is better than any of our competition. Your sales consultant will be happy to show you a list of the reconditioning performed on the vehicle to get it ready for sale.

This investment by Integrity Auto Finance to get your new car ready should save you repair money down the road. It is part of our “Golden Rule” commitment to treat you as we would want to be treated ourselves.

The process typically takes one to two hours, from the time you walk on the Integrity Auto Finance lot to when you drive off with your new vehicle. It is our goal at Integrity to make it as easy and enjoyable as possible for you.

At Integrity Auto Finance we carry a huge selection of cars, trucks, SUVS, crossovers and vans, all of which are reconditioned and ready to give you great service. We typically carry work trucks, luxury trucks, luxury sedans, economy cars, hybrids, crossovers, and third-row SUVs. You can review the vehicles we have available for sale on our inventory page. We think you will find our online inventory to be very complete, with detailed information on every vehicle for sale.

We also usually have a number of vehicles in the pipeline waiting for reconditioning and certification as eligible for the Heartland Service Warranty Plan. This means we are constantly adding inventory and have new vehicles coming on the lots every day. If you can’t find exactly what you want, let us know. Integrity Auto Finance wants you as a customer and if we don’t have what you are looking for, we are willing to look for it for you. At Integrity Auto Finance our goal is to get you what you want, and if that takes time and work we are happy to do what it takes.

We take the quality of our inventory seriously. We place importance on having a wide selection but have also chosen to avoid certain makes and models that are unreliable. Every vehicle for sale at Integrity Auto Finance undergoes a comprehensive 132 point checklist inspection. When we find something that needs repair to meet our standards, we repair it first, before it goes to a lot for sale. Vehicles that pass inspection are certified internally as eligible for sale and eligible to be backed by our Heartland Service Warranty Plan. Vehicles that fail the inspection go to auction to be bought by some other dealer who is willing to sell to an unsuspecting customer.

Additionally, every vehicle we carry has a free AutoCheck Vehicle History Report for your review. These reports tell you important information like how many people have owned the vehicle, whether it was in a fleet or private hands and whether it was in a reported accident. You can learn more about this report by visiting the AutoCheck website. We are also proud to offer this report for our inventory online so you can check a vehicle’s history before even coming to see it on our lot. Learn more about our inspection, AutoCheck and the Heartland Service Warranty Plan.

CARFAX Vehicle History Report helps you understand a vehicle’s history, enables you to compare similar vehicles you may be considering and helps you select the vehicle that’s right for you. CARFAX provides information on reported accidents, odometer rollback, lemon vehicles, and non-standard titles. CARFAX has access to data from the two largest vehicle auction companies to track sales of vehicles at auction, which means it can provide a more complete vehicle history.

Yes, it is free for any vehicle in our inventory. You can get a copy of an CARFAX report on the inventory section of our website, for free, without even first coming onto one of our lots.

If you are shopping other buy here pay here dealerships, and they won’t give you an CARFAX, come to Integrity Auto Finance before you buy. We will give you a free CARFAX on the vehicle you are looking at, even though you might be getting it somewhere else. It is our commitment to you, and our belief that eventually you will be a member of the Integrity Auto Finance family.

Every vehicle that we sell comes backed by our 12 months/12,000 mile Heartland Service Plan — approved and licensed by the State of Oklahoma Insurance Department — which covers the major mechanical components of your vehicle — your engine, electrical system, A/C and heater, cooling system, transmission, catalytic converter and oxygen sensors, and drivetrain. If an unforeseen mechanical issue happens, Integrity is determined to get you back on the road as quickly as possible.

All cars and trucks need regular maintenance and most will need repairs at some point due to normal wear and tear. Sometimes these repairs can be minor and sometimes they can be major. Integrity Auto Finance’s Heartland Service Plan is here to help you keep your ownership experience as stress-free as possible.

Please don’t be fooled by other dealers’ so-called “free” warranty plans. Read the fine print and beware of “gotcha” clauses where they might take away what they promised elsewhere to give you. Integrity Auto Finance doesn’t play that game. The Heartland Service Warranty Plan is the real deal, with license and approval by the Oklahoma Insurance Department to prove it.

The Heartland Service Warranty Plan covers major components of the vehicle, including the engine, transmission, electrical and fuel systems, cooling system, and air conditioning system. The following are covered:

Drive Train

Engine : Internally lubricated engine parts consisting of: Crankshaft and bearings, oil pump, pistons, rings, connecting rods and bearings, serpentine belt, timing gears, chain/belt, camshaft, bearings, push rods, rocker arms / shaft, hydraulic lifters, intake, catalytic convertors, oxygen sensors, and exhaust valves and springs. Engine blocks are covered if mechanical failure was caused by failure of a listed part.

Standard Transmission : Internal transmission parts consisting of: Gears, input and output shafts, bearings, overdrive housing, differentials, drive shaft, transfer case and transmission case if malfunction was caused by the listed parts.

Automatic Transmission : Internal transmission parts consisting of: Gears, input and output shafts, bearings, front pump, planetary assembly, sprags, governor assembly, valve body, torque converter, differentials, drive shaft, transfer case, transmission case, overdrive carrier, reaction carrier, center support, parking lock actuator, stator and stator shaft, separator plate, and pressure regulator valve.

Electrical and Fuel : Alternator, starter, heater core, and fuel pump (diesel injector pumps excluded).

Cooling : Water pump, radiator, and thermostat.

Air Conditioning (A/C) System : Compressor, condenser, clutch, evaporator core, expansion valve, lines, orifice tube or filter, Freon and / or oil, and blower actuator.

Labor : Reasonable cost of labor to replace the covered items.

The above is pretty comprehensive coverage. The plan document spells these out as well as items that are not covered. The plan document has been approved and licensed by the Oklahoma Insurance Department.

Many if not all of our competitors’ plans are not licensed by the Oklahoma Insurance Department and as a result may not be in compliance with state law. It looks to us like they either aren’t aware of the requirement for a service plan to be licensed or they are trying to avoid the licensing requirement by claiming their service plan or warranty is “free”. But then they charge you a deductible if you need to use it. The plan isn’t “free” if you have to pay something to use it, and if it isn’t really, truly “free” then the plan should be licensed.

It gets old competing with people who cut corners, say one thing and do another and don’t comply with the law. They give the industry a bad name and they can make life miserable for consumers. In a way it is unfair that they get away with it.

At Integrity Auto Finance we live by the “Golden Rule” to treat our customers, our vendors and each other as we would want to be treated ourselves. Our Integrity is important to us. It is our “unfair” advantage over our competitors whose practices are not based on Integrity.

Cars are complicated machines and they do need service. Integrity Auto Finance and Dealers Finance Co. are both committed to “Service after the Sale – That’s Integrity!” as a mission to help customers. There is a customer “ombudsman” whose # 1 job is to help customers with service issues, whether they are within the coverage period of the Heartland Service Warranty Plan or later. The Heartland Service Warranty Plan Administrator will help arrange for service, negotiate with reputable shops to assure fair pricing and follow-up to make sure repairs are taken care of.

If you maintain a good payment record with Dealers Finance, in most cases Dealers Finance will help you by financing part of the cost of repairs that are needed after the Heartland Service Warranty Plan period has expired. The keys are to establish a good payment record and to contact the Heartland Service Warranty Plan Administrator before repair work is started.

Call your Dealers Finance Customer Service representative. They are trained to listen and learn what is going on and they want to help you. If you have lost your job, had a health emergency, gotten divorced or encountered some similar life changing event, they will ask for verification and then get to work helping you work your way through it. This happens all the time so it isn’t something to be embarrassed about. Your Customer Service representative has probably been in the same situation themselves so they understand. The key is to communicate early and often.

If your vehicle is wrecked before it is paid off you should contact Dealers Finance Co. immediately at 405-456-6300 and they will work with you to help assure maximum insurance recovery and appropriate repair of the vehicle. If the accident resulted in a total loss, Dealers Finance Co. will work with you to assure the insurance settlement is applied against your amount. If the insurance pays off the note you will have money available for a down payment on a replacement vehicle from Integrity Auto Finance, or you can choose to receive cash and buy a replacement vehicle somewhere else. If the insurance is less than the amount owed hopefully you purchased GAP Insurance when you purchased your vehicle from Integrity so that the GAP Insurance will cover the difference between the vehicle’s actual cash value immediately before the accident and the amount owed to Dealers Finance. In either case Integrity will be there to help you get a replacement vehicle.

We have many people who have bought several vehicles from us. Bring your car to Integrity Auto Finance and we will appraise it and review your payment history while you are looking at our extensive inventory of late model cars, trucks and SUVs. To get the most out of your trade in, read our guide to trading in your car.

The most important thing you can do is make sure that you can afford what you buy and are committed to paying for it.

This investment by Integrity Auto Finance to get your new car ready should save you repair money down the road. It is part of our “Golden Rule” commitment to treat you as we would want to be treated ourselves.

We love it when our customers refer their friends, family, co-workers and just plain acquaintances to Integrity. Referrals are a very important source of new business for us. We are honored when our customers refer others to us. It is the best affirmation we have earned our customers’ trust.

Dealers Finance Co. returns the favor by paying customers $200.00 for each referral. When customers are in good standing they are paid cash, with checks available every Friday afternoon. If a customer is behind on their payments, the referral amounts are credited to the customer’s account to help get them into good standing.

Dealers Finance has a special incentive for customers who refer 3 other customers in one 30 day period. Dealers will pay $200.00 for the first referral, $300.00 for the second referral and $500.00 for the third referral, $1,000.00 in total! Fill out a referral form today and tell your friends about Integrity Auto Finance!

We have many people who have bought several vehicles from us. Bring your car to Integrity Auto Finance and we will appraise it and review your payment history while you are looking at our extensive inventory of late model cars, trucks and SUVs. To get the most out of your trade in, read our guide to trading in your car.
